Myagi is to expand its e-learning network to the UK golf industry. It is a ‘software as a service’ e-learning and communication platform that connects training content from brands and retailers, helping them improve sales and customer service.
The company states that the Myagi network connects retailers with brands providing a common industry platform to deliver on-demand training to help front line teams maximise sales. Individual learners have their own dash board similar to a social network, where they can monitor their own progress. Team managers can also monitor activity and reward success. The training is delivered in the form of short videos and can be accessed from any web enabled device and uses a short quiz to measure outcomes.
Established in Melbourne Australia in 2013 by retail technology entrepreneurs Simon Turner and Tom McLeod, Myagi says it is already working with leading golf retailers, brands and distributors in the United States and Australia and is now establishing links into the UK. The company is currently consulting leading suppliers, national retailers and buying groups, to gauge opinion and gather feedback to ensure it understands and delivers exactly what the golf industry needs.
Business development manager for Myagi, Richard Smith commented, “We are passionate about providing a cost effective, measurable and engaging online platform to help up-skill retail sales associates. By allowing brands and retailers to easily share product knowledge and sales skills we make learning easy and fast. We can also help improve and measure face to face training which has always been a huge challenge and significant cost to suppliers and retailers alike” More at: www.myagi.com
