CLUB CAR APPOINTS NEW REGIONAL SALES MANAGER TO DRIVE EXPANSION IN UK & NORTHERN

Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel electric vehicles, has promoted Andy Bourke to Regional Sales Manager UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Iceland.

In his new role, Andy Bourke will oversee the complete Club Car portfolio in the UK, Ireland and key northern European markets, spanning the business’ golf, utility and Onward consumer segments.

“Ensuring Club Car continues to be a key player within the golf industry, as number one in both product and service, has been a primary objective from day one,” said Andy Bourke. “In my new position, I’ve been tasked to build on this and expand our services within the utility and consumer segments in our key northern European markets, increasing the prominence of the brand across a wider range of industries.”

After working in the industry for eight years, Andy joined Club Car in 2020, leading the expansion of the company’s UK dealer network with the addition of three key dealers – Campey Turf Care, Farol, and Hunt Forest Group – to ensure enhanced sales and service delivery channels, nation-wide

Following Club Car’s acquisition of Garia in early 2022, Andy has been overseeing the consolidation of both brands’ product portfolios to meet the increasing demand for sustainable transportation options and grow Club Car’s presence in Europe.

Kevin Hart, Sales Director Golf Business for EMEA, said: “Having worked in both the manufacturing and dealer sectors, Andy has gained vital experience, skills and knowledge that have proven decisive in his quick succession.

“He has been instrumental in a number of strategic developments in northern Europe, including the appointment of a new distributor in Iceland, Brautir EHF, and multiple fleet renewals in Finland, not least of which at the country’s best course at Kytaja Golf.

“Andy has also been working closely with Club Car’s long-standing Swedish dealer, Epton, continuing to cement our position as market-leader with fleet increases at some of Sweden’s critically-acclaimed venues, including Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, northwest of Stockholm and Barsebäck Golf & Country Club near Malmö.

“With a remit which now comprises over 4,000 venues and 14 dealers in a hugely important region for Club Car, both in terms of volume and sales, but also with regards to market share, we have every confidence Andy will excel in his new role,” Kevin Hart added.

Club Car is the official supplier of golf cars to the DP World Tour, the 2023 Ryder Cup, the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) and St Andrews Links Trust.
