Sparks fly again at Royal & Awesome

Royal & Awesome is extending its relationship with leading children’s medical research charity Sparks (www.sparks.org.uk/golf). The colourful apparel brand is set to announce an exciting new programme of innovative events for 2015, as well as continuing to back the charity’s popular Sparks Golf Challenge, where teams of two or more play as many golf holes as possible in one day.

Royal & Awesome has supported Sparks at a number of big fundraising golf events in 2014 including one at Fulwell Golf Club, which raised an £20,000 with almost 50 golfers completing four rounds in a day at the 110-year-old club. In addition, it has provided outfits for participants, prizes for events and played a key role in promoting the Sparks Golf Challenge, including offering each team member a pair of trousers should they raise more than £400 in their challenge.

Brand director Graeme Smeaton said, “When you consider all the good work the money helps fund, it is easy to see why we were keen to continue to support Sparks. Royal & Awesome clothing helps to add a real dash of colour to golf fundraising efforts and we are delighted to be able to confirm our partnership and support for Sparks golf initiatives for another year. We are always looking for new ways in which we, as a brand, can raise awareness of this amazing charity and we are excited about supporting their new events and challenges for golfers to get involved in next year.” More at: www.royalandawesome.co.uk
