Oscar Jacobson keeps it casual for A/W15

Oscar Jacobson has announced its Autumn/Winter 2015 golf collection under the broader OJ Sport umbrella in recognition says the company of the ever more blurred boundaries between golf wear and everyday wear. The new collection presents garments designed to look equally at home on the course or out and about in town or country, retaining the best of 2014’s collection, while bringing in a number of stylish newcomers. Technically advanced performance fabrics are complemented by the brand’s Scandinavian style.

The A/W 2015 collection is being presented in two themes – Resort for a more classic look, with a strong emphasis on blacks, whites and hints of colour, and Club for the golfer not afraid to wear something a bit bolder, with the introduction of vibrant reds, blues, greens and yellows. There is a wider choice of colour statements throughout the range whether jackets like the Mickey Tour; sweaters like the new V-Neck Angus with its bold patterning; windstoppers like the Sullivan; or shirts like the Anton, Collin and Gustaf.

There is still OJ’s renowned Weather Protection System (WPS), a layering concept that is an integral part of the collection, with a host of garments working together to provide a perfect blend of protection from the elements and freedom to swing. The shirts, shorts and underwear form a light and breathable base layer to help wick moisture away and regulate temperature. PrimaLoft, an ultralight yet extra warm padding material, is a key feature of the OJ Sport range, with the success of the Mulligan and Manny jackets prompting the brand to extend its PrimaLoft offering from A/W 2015.

Gunnar Hedendahl, global sales and marketing director for sport stated, “Our new range will look and perform great on the course, but also work away from it. People are becoming more active, and there is a greater crossover of sports and leisure pursuits than ever before. Technical and performance fabrics are now commonly seen on the high street, and these days if people are investing in our products, they need to have a use beyond the golf course.” More at: www.oscarjacobson.com
