New Boost Technology from adidas Golf

adidas Golf has announced what they describe as “Revolutionary” new technology is now available in golf footwear.  The “Boost” technology is designed to deliver maximum energy return, responsiveness and unparalleled comfort.

The all-new adipower boost range of footwear for both men and women will feature the new technology  .

adidas’ innovative boost foam cushioning is comprised of thousands of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) energy capsules fused together by way of a proprietary high pressure steam molding process. At their core, these capsules are the essence of the innovation; its function, storing and releasing energy efficiently throughout the swing and delivering maximum energy return as athletes perform.

Jason Day, adidas Golf brand ambassador and #8 in the current Official World Golf Ranking, was first introduced to the shoe during testing in March 2014, where he raved about the footwear’s aesthetic appearance, comfort and performance.

“When I first put them on, I immediately noticed how comfortable they were. I didn’t want to take them off,” said Day. “During the swing, the energy return is noticeable – as if you can feel the technology in action. I wanted to keep them the moment I saw them. They feel good, and look good too.”

Available 27th February 2015, men’s adipower boost will be available in five colourways (White/Core Black/Bahia Blue, Core Black/Neo Iron Metallic,  Dark Silver Metallic/White/Night Flash, White/Silver Metallic, White & Night Flash/Silver Metallic/Solar Yellow) at an RRP of £129.99.
