Lynx effect entertains at Ricoh Women’s British Open

Lynx Golf held a series of marketing events at the recent Ricoh Women’s British Open, where Lynx was the official Golf Club brand. Visitors could see a series of product demonstrations, instruction clinics, trick shot shows and live celebrity interviews, as well as a new 100 square metre modular exhibition stand showcasing the Lynx 2014 product portfolio.

Lynx brand ambassadors Tony Jacklin and Di Dougherty and ‘Swash by Lynx’ putter designer, Harold Swash, kept crowds entertained over three days with interviews about the Ryder Cup and by giving putting masterclasses. On the official practice range, a Lynx club demo area gave competitors from around the world a chance to see and try Lynx products.

Lynx is the Official Golf Club of the Ricoh Women’s British Open to 2016. The company is dedicated to supporting ‘green grass’ pro shop business, with more than 400 accounts in the UK.

Stephanie Zinser, Lynx managing partner stated, “Of all the innovative marketing strategies we have at Lynx, this was by far our biggest undertaking to date and our whole team did a fantastic job. The way we showcased product – and the events we laid on to entertain the public and give them something to enjoy away from the course – really demonstrated what Lynx is about. And, of course, we couldn’t wish for two better ambassadors than Di Dougherty and Tony Jacklin, who did a marvellous job for us. The affection in which Tony is held by golfers around the world is still incredible and he keeps an audience absolutely enthralled.”
