Brucie bonus for Sunningdale shop

Sir Bruce Forsyth was among the guests helping to launch the Wonderful World of Golf shop in Sunningdale, Berkshire. Also in attendance with about 70 guests were jockey Declan Murphy, Ryder Cup player Michael King, and CEO of the European Tour, George O’Grady.

The boutique golf shop is owned by local businessman James Peters, who has run golf concessions in both Harrods and Selfridges and decided to open his own venture in his hometown of Sunningdale. Innovare Design consultancy led project design for Wonderful World of Golf, with shop-fitting by Hatton Building Developments.

Peters stated, “I was really honoured that keen golfer, Sir Bruce, was able to take time to officially open Wonderful World of Golf. I wanted to create an upmarket boutique golf shop, whilst maintaining competitive prices throughout the ranges on offer. The concept of the store identity is built around the sporting heritage epitomised by the American golfer Ben Hogan, one of the greatest players in the history of the game.”
